Most of you already know that I am a psychic medium. I give readings in person or over the phone. I have always kept my prices, for what I have always felt was my mission in life, as low as possible, just making enough to pay my living expenses, with no need to live in luxury.
Many times a new client would ask me "what is the name of your guide?" I had no answer to give them for I had never been given a name. As you can well understand, this made me feel very awkward for many psychics have what they call a "guide" and often they give their clients an Indian name to be impressive is what I thought. However, throughout the many years of giving readings and being asked this question, and so many times not having an answer, I remember the day I said to my client "I just call them my HIgher Powers" came from my imagination. After my client left, I went into my bedroom and I layed down on my bed and stared up at the ceiling. I actually spoke out loud and felt very inadequate for not having a name of my source of information when I suddenly heard "Names are not important". I then realized that made so much sense to me for how would it help a client by telling them.....
*#1- I have a guide and ....
*#2- My guide's name is so and so.
It does not help them one little bit to know it!!! I do now realize that it does help "everyone" to know of the Higher Powers.
The next day I was cleaning my apartment. In my bedroom is a stand that holds books. As I was dusting, my Bible looked as if it leaped out and opened up. It was opened to Romans, Chapter 13, the very first verse which says:
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God"...
and verse 6 it instructs us:
"For , this cause pay ye tribute also; for they are God's ministers, attending continually to this very thing".
Now when I am asked by a client, "what is the name of your guide?", I tell them my information comes from the Higher Powers. You might want to call them your guardian angels like many people do. The fact that the Bible opened up the very next day of my feeling so inadequate to the question as to where I get my information from, to that very explicit verse and being the first verse for my answer, I talk to them and I ask them for their help and guidance and I always seem to get it. I have a feeling though, if we do not know about them in order to call on them to help us in our time of need, it makes it harder for them without that recognition that they are there and they are God's helpers for us.
I pass this information, and experience of mine, on to you for I feel I am told to do so, especially at a time in all our lives when there is so much cruelty and killing in the world, not just for ourselves.
