If you have read my article "Healing
From Afar"
it really wasn't my
first experience with healing. I just had no idea you could
do any kind of healing from a distance, I thought you could only heal
at all, you had to be with someone for that was my very first
experience "Healing By Touch".
A doctor called me to make an appointment with me. She had been to me before for a psychic reading and was shocked to learn that when she got home to listen to our taped session, she had a voice on the tape that was not ours. I told her someone from the other side was trying to contact with her which takes us to the article I had written "Contacting Deceased Loved Ones".
When the doctor arrived at my apartment she pulled out a chair at my dinning room table instead of going down the hall to my office which I knew she was familiar. I asked her to come back to to my office but she said "please sit down, I want to talk to you". She proceeded to tell me that she learned she had a mass on her ovary and her doctor feels almost certain it is cancer and that he was talking about chemotherapy, a hysterectomy .. the whole nine yards!!!! My heart and soul immediately went out to her for she was so young and vibrant looking.
The doctor said "I want you to heal me". I immediately put up my hands in disbelief and said "wait a minute, I am no healer, I am a psychic and medium". The doctor sorta read me the riot act, is what I called it. She said "now you wait a minute. When someone calls you for an appointment and they ask if they come to you to have their mother or father, husband or wife come through, can you guarantee them that their loved one will definitely make themselves known?" I said "I never thought about it before". She proceeded to go on and say "and if they want a personal reading about themselves and they call for an appointment, can you definitely tell them I can read for you?" Again, I told her I never thought about it beforehand like that. Her reply to me was "well you can't guarantee you can heal me and you tell me you are not a healer, but you are my last resort and you have to try!!!!" She was so adamant about it I felt intimidated. I was scared !!!!
I sheepishly asked her to come down the hall to my office where I have a twin bed against the wall. I asked her to lie down on the bed; something I do not do when giving any kind of reading. I closed the blinds so that anyone walking by could not see in, to give her privacy. I pulled a chair over to her and I immediately went to her left side. She said "that's the side". I asked her to pull down her slacks and I told her I would have to cup my hand around her groan area. She gave me the okay and said "don't worry about it". Over her underwear I cupped my hand and my hand started to become very hot. She had her eyes closed. I sat there and I prayed to our Father and Jesus with such empathy for her and I asked for healing. I could fee under my hand what felt like a knot and I felt the knot go away as my hand became hotter and hotter until I almost could not stand the heat myself. Once my hand became cool again, I felt the session was over. We realized it was one hour. She left, thanking me.
The next day she called me. She had gone to her doctor and she said to me "I am going to tell you just exactly what took place and what he said". She told me as she lied on the table her doctor began to feel around her left side and he said "what gives here?" She replied to him "what do you mean?" He said "I can't feel it". She then asked him to x-ray her and compare it to the first x-ray that showed a mass as big as a baseball. She informed me that she purposely did not tell me that for I was scared enough already and she didn't want to make things worse for me. Her doctor took another picture of her ovary and the mass had reduced down to the size of a marble. She had to operated on to remove it, but she did not need a hysterectomy or chemo for it turned out to not be cancer. He doctor informed her he had never seen a mass reduce in size like that.
I would like to share the letter she sent to me:
"FLORENCE:
IT WAS NICE TO TALK TO YOU LAST WEEK. I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH YOU HELPED ME BEFORE MY SURGERY. THERE'S NO QUESTION MY CYST DECREASED IN SIZE FROM YOUR WORK. MENTALLY, I WAS VERY RELIEVED AND FELT MUCH LESS STRESSED GOING INTO SURGERY BECAUSE I FELT I WAS GOING TO BE OKAY. I DO NOT WANT TO LET GO OF THE SPIRITUAL EDUCATION AND GROWTH THAT HAS OCCURRED IN MY LIFE. I FEEL LIKE ALL OF THIS HAPPENED FOR A REASON AND I CONTINUE TO LOOK AT THE REASONS WHY. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR YOU I WOULD HAVE HAD A MUCH HARDER TIME REMAINING STRONG. OBVIOUSLY, THERE IS A GREATER FORCE OUT THERE THAT FELT I SHOULD STAY HERE LONGER. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HEALING WORK YOU DO! YOU'RE VERY GIFTED AND I CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND YOU!"
I want to share this with you to teach you that we can heal when your heart and soul is so committed to God and you have such love for another one of God's children. I have learned, however, that we should try with love in our hearts for the person you are trying to heal and for our Father who sends this energy for we cannot do anything without him. I have learned the artist would not be able to draw if it were not a God given talent, so why not healing?
Something else that took place that day besides healing as we read the doctor's letter to me. She received a small spiritual experience. Later she told me she felt like she had almost an out of body and a feeling of indescribable. Yes, you can heal too when you have LOVE FOR ANOTHER HUMAN BEING, LOVE FOR OUR FATHER AND LOVE FOR JESUS FOR THROUGH HIM YOU GET TO THE FATHER NOT ONLY WHEN WE ARE READY TO LEAVE THIS EARTH, WHILE WE ARE HERE. I PASS THIS ON TO YOU ... DON'T BE AFRAID TO TRY HEALING.
