I shared this with a client a while back, about John Edwards on the program Crossing Over.  I wasn't trying to say he wasn't legitimate, but that he was setting himself up for ridicule by using "letters" instead of a "name".   For instance, if you have not seen the program he has a room full of people and he addresses a part of the room and goes to that group of people sitting there and says something like "I am getting a J".. John, James, Jan, etc. etc. trying to come through.  I told my client he is opening himself up for scrutiny so to speak and that happened this Saturday on the Saturday Night Live program. .. they made him the point of a joke segment by doing just that.

      The program 48 Hours did a job on James Van Praggh whom I have seen on many different shows as a guest.  He was here in Baltimore several years ago at the Baltimore Harbor and you had to get a ticket .   I was told by my client who is the first person on my tape "Voices & Sounds" from the other side.  She went there in the hope to be picked out of so many people that the odds were less in her favor than for her.   As it turned out she was not picked and disappointed.  Somehow she heard of me and "we" were fortunate enough to have her mother put her voice on our taped session.  She never found out who her father was out of two possibilities and had their pictures in her purse.  Her father came through and I gave her a description of what I was seeing as to what he looked like.  I told her there was something about Pennsylvania also about it.   She pulled out of her purse at the end of our session and the one man was the exact same description and she found out several weeks later that he played in a band in Pennsylvania.   She came back to me to bring  her mother through and that was when she had closure also with her mother about who her father was.

      I  do believe that John Edwards, James Van Praagh and George Anderson are all legitimate.  I do not believe that all psychic/mediums on television are, but I won't name them.  Ever since James Van Praagh's televised session with 48 Hours aired he dropped out of site.  He said on the program "you set me up"!!!

    Another thing I feel concerned about are the prices they charge as a medium.  John Edwards physically
cannot give everyone a reading in that room on camera or off, for it is draining of energy, therefore, I would venture to say many people who go there and pay their way to get in get nothing for they take their chances.
I believe they should be paid like everyone else who provides a service... I do .. but not the outlandish price of $1000.00 and up like some are charging.  I heard that John Edwards is $250.00 per person, but he has a room full like I said, and he will not be able to help everyone.  I have a client who disagrees with me and she thinks everyone in the room gets a reading from him, possibly while off camera.  I know how draining it can be and do feel this is not possible.  You can make up your own mind.  If he is able he won't last long, but he will have made his big money!

    I think about the poor girl who works in a 7-11 Store, Burger King, etc. for low minimum wage who grieves just as much for her mother or another loved one as those who can afford it.  This is the reason I keep my  prices low!!   I do not give initials and I do not get the name of the deceased.  I ask the client to give me the
first name of the deceased.  I ask the client to give me the "first name " of the person who is deceased and what relationship that person is to them and I often ask the client to talk about the person and tell them they are here and want to make contact and request that they make themselves known and then I take it from there.   I hear "names" but is often some relationship to the deceased that of the client and 98% of what they relate.  I see things in "vision" form for that  is given to me also many times like what their house looked like, kitchen, even a kitchen table.  I do not always have to be with the client in person either.  It can be over the phone for this if the spirit is willing they come through no matter what!!!  

    When doing a spirit reading as opposed to a private, what I call personal reading; especially when contacting a loved one who has passed on, for they not only come through to say "I am alright"; they have  mission to teach us that we do not die, like Jesus did after the crucifixion and especially to doubting Thomas.  If a spirit can reach just one loved one here and the sharing of the tape with other persons the spirit was connected to, then, their mission was successful and it helps them to move to a higher level of existence.  This is difficult for them to do, however, for we in the human body do not think about it in these terms.  I have had people say my tape of "Voices and Sounds" would be eerie, like a horror movie they relate to seeing instead of the "beautiful" for the teaching it affords us.  Oh we in the human body have so much to learn!!!

    I have been doing this work which I feel is God's work for over twenty years.  In 1982 I was desperate for making ends meet while raising my child alone and to meeting financial obligations.  The woman upstairs had her furniture put out on the street and I thought if I do not get enough readings I will be too along with my son. I  was torn, however, that if God gave me this gift should I be charging for the service at all?  I felt  guilty for taking the money for my son and I to exist!!!  I got down on my knees and I prayed and I told God I felt guilty for taking the money I charged, yet I needed the money.  In the room I heard a loud voice say "If you do our work we will take care of you".  I asked for a sign.!!!  The next day my phone rang about every fifteen minutes for a reading.  I was not well known and wondered how these people heard of me.  I have been taken care of ever since by getting just enough of what I need to exist.  I have learned that to make a living just for the necessities of life, nothing lavish, and when I have my health,  consider myself wealthy.
